Gregory Farnum
President of Vermont Information Technology Leaders, Inc.

"The Connecting for Health Common Framework was a valuable resource as Vermont Information Technology Leaders, Inc. developed the Vermont Health Information Technology Plan. In particular, we found the nine core principles for ensuring privacy in a networked health information environment to be very helpful. We included them in the plan as part of a privacy and security framework for the Vermont Health Information Exchange Network, in addition to the seven principles developed by our Vermont Work Group."

Gregory Farnum is the president of Vermont Information Technology Leaders, Inc. Greg previously served as vice president of data and information services of the Vermont Association of Hospitals and Health Systems (VAHHS). During his tenure at VAHHS, Greg concentrated his efforts on developing the Vermont Explor data services business within the association.
